Without a doubt it must be the best deal in the country to spend Sunday night at your wonderful establishment.  It is highly likely we shall return (on a Sunday!) We both enjoyed a superb dinner last night.  It was truly excellent cooking for which the chef is to be congratulated.  The full English breakfast (included in the price) was magnificent. The service was immaculate. The bedroom with en-suite bathroom was spacious, beautifully furnished with attention to every small detail. All in all GREAT VALUE for money! .

Friendliness of staff. Excellent food. Luxurious accommodation, far in excess of what I am used to. Relaxing atmosphere and countryside surroundings. Spotlessly clean. The room I had was huge with massive bed and a bath I could actually stretch out in and the tv also had Freeview. Just couldn't fault anything.

We stayed for one night (a Sunday) when it was very quiet. I imagine it could be very busy if there is a wedding on. The deluxe bedroom in the lodge was huge, with a vast bed and a large bathroom with shower and bath. It was not at all basic and had lovely views over fields.

We had drinks in the bar and very good food and service in the restaurant. The cooked breakfast the next morning was the best we have had in a while and there was good fresh coffee. The lady who served us on the Monday morning was very helpful too. We would certainly stay there again. It’s very convenient for Oundle and Peterborough.

Great hotel very good food and rooms. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts are excellent probably the best we have ever had in any hotel. Will definateley return and recommend to everyone, very good value for money,

Quiet Location

Stayed at this hotel because I’m not a fan of large chain hotels. If you like quiet and small then this hotel is for you. Only 5/10 mins from Corby and Oundle. Service and food was really good. Breakfast was buffet style for cereal/juice etc but you can order what you want for cooked breakfast so it’s very fresh. Would definitely stay here again.

Superb comfortable room, exemplary personal service.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We based ourselves here while visiting family. At times we were the only guests around...it is that quiet time of the year. We stayed in the new Lodge section. It was a pleasure to return to fresh laundry and a warm, immaculately clean room each day.

We really appreciated that attention to detail. We did not eat at the restaurant in an evening, so are unable to comment but there was a good choice of top quality food on the menu and comments in the visitor’s book were very good.
