Weddings
The traditional, rural surroundings of the Benefield Wheatsheaf provide an idyllic setting for your special day. Your wedding day is personal to you – we will work with you through every step of the planning process to ensure that you have the style of wedding that you want, and a day to remember forever.
The Ceremony
The Benefield Wheatsheaf has two rooms licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies performed by the Oundle Registry Office. We can cater for weddings of up to 60 guests in the Garden Room or, for a more intimate wedding, the Snug can hold up to 16 guests.
The Reception
Whether or not your ceremony takes place at the Benefield Wheatsheaf, we offer excellent facilities for wedding receptions and banquets. The Garden Room can accommodate up to 60 guests and up to 150 guests can be catered for in a marquee on our extensive lawn.
The Wedding Breakfast
Our chef will work with you to create the menu that suits your budget. We aim to offer complete flexibility and can prepare the style of cuisine and any particular dish you require. We use locally sourced and seasonal produce wherever possible.
Planning your Wedding
Our personal Wedding Co-ordinator will help you to prepare and organise this special occasion, including the fine details such as individually created menus, drinks & wines to be served, table layout, table and room decoration.
We have a list of local florists, photographers and DJ’s who will help you create the look you require, record the event and encourage you to party into the night! We will tailor your special event taking into account your budget and specific requirements.
